Join Our Team as an Accounts Clerk

Location: Thika, Kenya

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join our client’s finance team based in Thika. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with reconciliations, reporting, and supplier coordination.


Key Responsibilities

• Process and post purchase invoices into the system

• Maintain proper filing of invoices and financial documents

• Prepare and process monthly billing and general cargo invoices

• Request and reconcile supplier statements (local and international)

• Share remittances, bank deposit slips, and Telegraphic Transfers (T.Ts) with suppliers

• Perform weekly and monthly bank reconciliations

• Conduct stock takes and reconcile inventory records

• Analyze expenses and support monthly reporting

• Carry out other finance-related duties as assigned


Requirements

• CPA Section III or Diploma in a business-related course

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central)

• Experience in accounting or finance support roles is an added advantage
