Ten industry tables, 20-minute conversations and direct answers – and a more intensive B2B session to follow. Watch this space.

Nairobi, Kenya, 19 September 2026 – The United Asian Network (UAN) held its Meet the Experts session as part of Leadership Summit 3.0. Over 250 delegates sat across from nearly 30 business leaders to put their questions directly to those who have built, scaled and steered companies in Kenya and the region.

UAN said delegates left with practical, meaningful insights they can apply in their own businesses.

How it worked

Delegates chose three of ten industry tables. Each table session lasted 20 minutes: five minutes of introductions covering name, organisation and the insight being sought, ten minutes of direct questions and expert discussion, and five minutes to exchange contacts and agree next steps. A delegate prep guide urged attendees to skip generic elevator pitches and bring specific, real-world problems.

The ten tables covered:

•      Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics

•      Retail, Hospitality & Tourism, Food & Beverage

•      Banking, Finance & Professional Services

•      Technology, AI & Digital Innovation

•      Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals & Wellness

•      Real Estate, Construction, Infrastructure & Energy

•      Agriculture, Agribusiness & Sustainability

•      Education, TVET, EdTech & Workforce Development

•      Marketing, Advertising, PR & Branding

•      Sports, Recreation, Events & Venues

Featured experts came from organisations including Bowmans, RSM, Victoria Commercial Bank, HP, SEACOM, Compulynx, Aga Khan Hospital, Guru Nanak Ramgarhia Sikh Hospital, Chandaria Industries, Trademark, Broadway, Twiga Tours, Elgon Kenya, Silafrica, AKDN, Hillcrest and ENGAGE.

What delegates brought to the table

Delegates were encouraged to bring practical questions, from supply-chain and raw-material strategy and the mistakes founders make before seeking growth funding, to which AI tools a non-technical business can adopt immediately, how to build a distinctive brand on a tight budget, and how to turn a one-off event into a lasting one.

What happens next

UAN will use delegates’ table choices to shape sector-focused programming over the next 12 months. It also announced a follow-up: a more intensive business-to-business (B2B) session, to be held soon and that will build on the conversations started at the Summit. Details will be shared soon.
