Greetings from the High Commission of India, Nairobi.
The United Nations General Assembly, through Resolution 69/131 adopted in December 2014, declared 21 June as the International Day of Yoga (IDY), recognizing yoga’s universal appeal and its holistic benefits for health and well-being. Since then, the International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually across the world with enthusiastic participation from people of all ages and backgrounds.
In this connection, the High Commission of India in Nairobi is pleased to invite members of the public, together with their families and friends, to participate in the 12th International Day of Yoga celebrations scheduled to be held as follows:
